Information about the different rooms in your inn is entered in this screen. To access the Room Listings screen click on Setup > Rooms in the main menu. The Room Listing screen is displayed as shown below.

To Add Rooms

1.   Click on Add button.

2.   The cursor is placed in Room Number text box. Enter Room Number.

3.   Enter Room Name.

4.   Select Room Type from the provided. It can be any one of the following viz Single, Double, Luxury, Deluxe, Suite, Queen, King, Twin, Cottage, or Guest House. Room Types are setup in the Room Types screen.

5.   If the room is provided with a television, click on the In Room TV check box.

6.   If the room is air conditioned, click on the Air Conditioned check box.

7.   If the room has a private bath, click on the Private Bath check box.

8.   If the room is provided with a Hot Tub/Jacuzzi, click on the Hot Tub/Jacuzzi check box.

9.   If the room has a refrigerator, click on the Refrigerator check box.

None: The amenities listed as check boxes for the room such as In Room TV and Air Conditioned can be modified to suit your requirements in the Customize Labels screen.

10.  Enter Notes if any.

11.  Then click on the Save button. The new room is added to the Room List in the lower portion of the screen.

To Modify Rooms

1.   Select the room that you want to modify from the Room Listing table found in the lower portion of the screen.

2.   Room information is displayed in the appropriate text boxes.

3.   Make the required modifications and click on the Save button. The modified room information is added to the Room List in the lower portion of the screen.

4.   The amenities listed as check boxes for the room such as In Room TV and Air Conditioned can be modified to suit your requirements in the Customize Labels screen.

To Delete Rooms

1.   Select the room that you want to delete from the Room Listing table found in the lower portion of the screen.

2.   Click on the Delete Room button.

3.   A message box “Are you sure you want to delete this room” appears. Click on “Yes” if you are sure you want to delete this room. Click on “No” if you do not want to delete this room.

To Exit the Room screen

Click on the Close button to exit the screen.
