Units

All information about the different units in your property is entered in this screen. To access Units screen click on Setup > Units in the main menu. The Unit Information screen is displayed as shown below.

To Add Units

1. Click on the Add button.

2. The cursor is placed in the Unit Number text box. Enter the Unit Number.

3. Enter Unit Name.

4. Select Unit Type from the list provided. It can be any one of the following viz Single, Double, Luxury, Deluxe, Suite, Queen, King, Twin, Cottage, Guest House. The types of units are added in the Unit Types screen.

5. Select the Default Rate for this room. The Rate applicable for this unit has to be already defined under the Unit Rate screen. This rate will be taken as the default rate when making reservations.

Note: If Seasonal Rates are specified, the seasonal rate set for the dates will override the regular room rate.

6. Enter the telephone Extension allocated for this room.

Note: If you purchased Call Accounting interface, the telephone extension has to be defined in this screen.

7. If your units are provided with the amenities listed, click on the ones that apply.

Note: The amenities can be modified to suit your property by clicking on the Change Amenities Labels button.

8. Enter notes or description if any.

9. Then click on the Save button. The new unit is added to the list in the lower portion of the screen.

Modify Units

1. Select the unit that you want to modify from the table found in the lower portion of the screen.

2. Unit information is displayed in all the corresponding text boxes.

3. Make the required modifications and click on the Save button. The modified room information is added to the list in the lower portion of the screen.

Delete Units

1. Select the unit that you want to delete from Unit listing table found in the lower portion of the screen.

2. Unit information is displayed in all the corresponding text boxes.

3. Click on the Delete button.

4. A message box “Are you sure you want to delete this record” appears. Click on “Yes” if you are sure you want to delete this unit. Click on “No” if you do not want to delete this unit.

Exit Units screen

Click on the Close button to exit screen.
